  • Acorn nut: Also refered to as a crrown hex nut, blind nut, cap nut, domed cap nut, or dome nut, is a nut that has a domed end on one side. It’s paired with our hex bolt set for the hangers that mount to the front of the door.
  • Anchor: In relation to barn door hardware, there are drywall anchors and concrete bolt anchors. Anchors are an insert that, combined with the appropriate screw, can create a firm mount anywhere on a drywall panel or concrete. Drywall anchors are plastic while the concrete anchors are steel.
  • Anti-jump pads:Anti-jump pads are small circular accessories that are mouted to the top of the door. It does not affect the operation of the door, but fills the void between the door and the track so thay there isn’t enough room for tthe door to bounce off.
  • Anti-jump (L): The L anti-jumps are meant for the bent door hangers to prevent bypass doors from jumping off the track. Instead of mounting to the top of the door like the regular anti-jumps, the L shaped ones are mounted onto the back of the bent hanger because the hangers protrude out and away from the track. The top of the anti-jump would hit the bottom of the track when the door bounces, preventing the door from jumping off the track.
